interested in revolutionary clinical praxis

i've just started reading Marxist/Leninist theory and am about to embark on my journey of becoming a physician associate (PA).

my school rotates us in FQHCs which would be great exposure but i want to learn more about different paths i could take while remaining anchored in clinical praxis.

some directions ive been drawn to are psychiatry (street medicine, perinatal, or prison medicine) or family medicine (harm reduction, refugee, or migrant health). i'm inspired by the tradition of the physician-farmer, who understands that healing communities requires tending to the land they live on just as much as the bodies within it. i'll also be volunteering in my local farms to supplement my learning.

there's just so many things to choose from i want to be intentional about not only choosing a path that reflects my political philosophy but also the clinical strengths i develop through training. i think this will also help me find the right mentors and opportunities.

thank you in advance for any and all advice!
