What weather source is most reliable for the gorge? I like to use local weather as opposed to a national source but am not sure what that would be. I’ve been looking at weather in Slade but don’t see anything local.
We have had our house on the market for 5 months! Started at 600k which is in line with comps. The market has slowed a bit where I am but not much, we live in a great school district and many houses here are still selling. We are now down to 540 and still not getting offers. I can’t tell you how many showings we’ve had, it’s a ton. We have also had tons of people through during open houses. Our realtor is very experienced, and so is his broker. They kept assuring us that we were not overpriced even when we were priced higher. We got an offer for 540 in the beginning, but we had only been on the market for a week and it was contingent on the buyers also selling so we turned it down. ( Yes, we’re regretting that now). We had one offer since but it was ridiculously low and we didn’t even counter. We’ve consistently gotten feedback that our layout is not functional on the second floor. It is an old home and the layout is kind of weird, but we figured we’ve accounted for that by dropping the price so much. Do we go even lower on price even though we’re being told we’re not overpriced? Look for another agent? Hold out longer? Any advice from anyone who has been in a similar situation is much appreciated.
