I would like to let you all know about the new market application (market.banxno.com). It is an online marketplace to buy and sell items using nano (XNO). Your existing account for other apps (games, prediction market, and powerball) works with the market app also.

The BANXNO market app has the following features.

Instant delivery: Seller can enter the digital item deliverable (gift card number/pin, coupon code, etc.) while listing the item for sale. When the item is purchased, the content is revealed to the buyer immediately.

Manual delivery: Seller can also choose manual delivery. After purchase, seller and buyer communicate through messages in the app to arrange delivery of the item (email, text, or shipping).

Dispute: When there is dispute, seller and buyer try to work out solution through messages in the app. If they can't come to an agreement, the system will settle the dispute through a reputation-based method. Both sides will suffer loss in that case because the system cannot know who is right and users are anonymous. Working with user with higher reputation helps mitigate the risk.

Reputation: User slowly accumulates reputation as they complete successful transactions, both as buyer and seller. Their reputation will be reduced when they have unresolved dispute. Seller can restrict sale to buyers with minimum reputation, and buyer can see seller's reputation and choose to buy from reputable sellers. Users can also purchase reputation to have a startup boost.

Authorized seller program: Authorized seller is a subscription program where seller can price the item for sale in USD. The system will automatically convert the listing price to XNO and update the price every hour to track the USD amount as XNO price changes. The current subscription rate is a token amount. If/when we reach certain number of sellers, the subscription rate may increase.

The system will automatically convert the listing price to BAN or XNO and update the price every hour to track the USD amount as BAN/XNO price changes. Second, seller can link one BAN and one XNO account together so the same item can be marketed to both BAN and XNO buyers. When the item is purchased from one market, it will be removed from the other market. (The current subscription rate is a token amount. If/when we reach certain number of sellers, the subscription rate may increase.)

There seems to be problems with the network, or the nodes banxno.com uses. Both banano and nano are having receiving troubles.

I don't have the bandwidth to find other nodes to redirect the apps right now, so please expect disruptions with the send and receive functions.

Bidding war game history shows most recent games were won by a single bid, so it effectively turned into a faucet. The countdown period will be raised to 12 hours to reduce frequent payout and make the game more sustainable.

Similarly, the faucet donation challenge is a net outflow for the faucet, and the countdown period will be raised to 24 hours to make it more sustainable.

The nano RPC calls are costing real money, and it becomes not worth it to support the nano wallet sign in function, which very few people use anyway. So we will phase out the nano wallet sign in function (banano wallet sign in will still be available.)

In order to not lock out nano wallet only user, the nano wallet sign in function is still there but the sign in wait time is increased to up to 5 minutes. It is to be used once to sign in and add email address to the account, instead of a viable sign in method. Swap speed and donation challenge timing are also somewhat affected but nonetheless still functional.

Hi, All. I added a few casino games (Video Poker, Roulette, and Dice) to games.banxno.com

When adding these I learned there is this Provably Fair method which uses seeds and hash to pre commit the randomness and prove nothing changed after player action. That's what was implemented in all these casino games, so player knows there is no cheating by the house.

There was a bug that caused faucet donation challenge payout to be incorrect. All winners will be (or already have been) sent additional coins to make up the missing prize. If anyone still didn't get what they are supposed to get, please reach out here.

There are intermittent issues with the nano node banxno.com uses to send out nano. So there might be prizes that failed to be delivered. If anyone is missing a prize, please reach out here.

I have added more apps to BANXNO collection. Here are the currently available apps.

Faucet (faucet.banxno.com) - contains faucet, swap, and donation challenge.

Powerball (powerball.banxno.com) - a BAN/XNO lottery based on US Powerball game and result.

Games (games.banxno.com) - currently contains three games. Monkey&Ladder, Kingdom, and Bidding War.

Predict (predict.banxno.com) - a BAN/XNO prediction market.

I have added a new function to BANXNO faucet (faucet.banxno.com), the Donation Challenge. Now there are three faucet functions.

Main (faucet.banxno.com) - get small amount of BAN or XNO daily.

Swap (faucet.banxno.com/swap) - swap between BAN and XNO.

Donation Challenge (faucet.banxno.com/challenge) - Donate small amount, if no one donates after you for 12 hours, you get a prize.

After the latest software update, Google maps shows a blank screen instead of the map. I can still search and it still prompts for turns just no visual of the map. Does anyone else have this problem?
