How do you celebrate your burniversary?

Sorry if this is a frequent question, but this weekend is my 1 year “burniversary” and I’m curious how other people have celebrated, if at all. Do you celebrate with family and friends, or do you like to be alone, more low key or do you enjoy throwing a party etc to celebrate your survival and life?

Id love to do something fun, creative and whimsical to celebrate. Maybe go to dinner, even celebrate with a cake or something. Just curious how others experience this time.

I was burned from someone putting gas on the fire and it blew up in my face. It’s been a very difficult journey. My friend I was with left me outside while everyone else ran in. Very traumatic. I’m 29. Although i go out into public, ive isolated myself from social media, and avoid people i went to school with. I’d love to put myself out there again, but looking for encouragement and other people who have experienced the same. It’s sad to see most people do not have compassion or empathy for others. My dating life is non existent and I haven’t thought to ask others on here what their thoughts and experiences are.

Thanks!
