trying to remember a podcast

Hi, I am going bonkers trying to remember the name of a podcast I listened to years ago so I am fuzzy and may be pulling images from other podcasts but I'll give it a try.
fantasy podcast with two young men and a young woman. conflict at first then they become friends
I believe she left a royal home
At least one of the characters has some magic going on, maybe new to him
One of them maybe has issues with his dad? is expected to be a solider? knight?
Maybe opened with a horse scene?
Maybe has medieval elements? but I can also picture contemporary elements
At some point there is a boat kidnapping
Someone on a bridge plays a role
maybe a bootlegging related scene? a fire? jumping on a building?
I believe there is a shapeshifter (maybe with red hair?) and a scene towards the end involving water.
