Which Asian country should I remote work from?

I’m considering a digital nomad-style trip because I’d like to spend some time away from my home city and explore the world while working—something my 100% remote job allows me to do. Due to time zone considerations, I’d like to head to an Asian country with affordable costs or travel a route through that region. Could you recommend countries and cities other than the usual hotspots like Bali, Thailand, or Vietnam?
Ideally, the cost of living shouldn't be too high; I’m aiming for a budget of around €600–€700 per month, as I understand you can live very well on that amount in those kinds of countries. That said, don't rule out destinations based solely on this factor—I’m open to adjusting the budget if the destination is worth it.
I realize a reliable internet connection is crucial; I don't need blazing-fast speeds, just enough to handle video calls and basic online office tasks. However, if you have any tips for securing my own connection—like using mobile data or satellite internet so I don't have to rely on local Wi-Fi—please let me know.
For example, I’ve been thinking about Sri Lanka; I hear it’s affordable and that connectivity and power stability have improved. Plus, there’s surfing—something I’m interested in trying. I could also take a quick side trip to the Maldives for a few days and build the itinerary from there.
