is the zero attendance policy still effective for 9 pointers? Also if someone maintains a CGPA above 9 after the 3rd sem, would he/she still be eligible for zero attendance policy in the 4th sem?

Suppose let's say someone didn't cross 9 after 1st year but have their cgpa above 9 after 3rd sem, would they be eligible for it in the 4th sem? Or do they have to wait a whole year to enjoy the perks? Is it effective immediately after getting the cgpa above 9 or does it work annually?
