It’s been 312 days since the last episode of Peacemaker aired.

I made a bet with some of my buddies about what’s most likely to happen first:

  1. Season 3 of Peacemaker
  2. A Peacemaker movie
  3. An animated Peacemaker movie or miniseries, basically anything animated.

I picked the animated movie or animated mini series.

The losers have to buy:

• A 24 pack of beer each
• 24 wings each

Let's see what happens first. What do you think? LOL It would be sad if, in 10 years, none of the options above happen. Cameos on movies or TV shows don't count.

Guys, how fan-friendly is James Gunn when it comes to signing things?

I got a director’s chair, but I’m not sure if he could or would sign it.

John Cena is super cool and friendly with fans but I’ve never tried getting anything signed by Gunn, so I’m not sure what to expect.

You Know Peacemaker Is Popular When Even a Mechanic from Another Country Loves the Show

So yesterday I was talking to this mechanic’s assistant at an auto shop. I have a Peacemaker figure in my car, so he noticed it. He didn’t speak English very well, but he recognized the figure and said, “Oh, oh, oh! Peacemaker! James Gunn! He a cuck! Yes, very, very good TV show. You can't see me”

The guy was from Kazakhstan, he said. But it’s so cool that even people from other countries who barely speak English recognize and love the show.

Guy was cool AF, I think this helped too, because my car got serviced faster. 😂

Behind the Scenes at a Movie Theater

I work at a movie theater, so let me tell you what we actually see from people coming to the movies.

First, kids' movies like Minions, Spider Man, and Mario. Dude, theaters are absolutely flooded with kids, teenagers, and adults too. We hate it because it means a lot more work, hahaha, but it is what it is. I'm still amazed by whoever created the Minions. Those little mfs bring an insane amount of people to theaters.

For example, right now I'm seeing way more people showing up for Spider Man. Like, a lot. And we're not seeing the weird stuff we saw with The Odyssey, where screenings were sold out or almost full because people bought tickets online, but not many actually showed up.

I also want to add something about working at a movie theater. TV shows always romanticized it, like you can eat all the popcorn you want, grab candy and food for free, mess around, smoke weed, whatever. Dude, that doesn't exist. It's totally corporate now. They even keep track of how much salt is used.

At least that's the perspective of someone who works at a movie theater. I guess everyone has their own opinion, but this is what I've seen.

Unlike some directors who ban chairs on set, Gunn likes having chairs around.

Gunn has a special relationship with chairs. He even keeps an extra set of chairs for guests. He believes a chair is the doorway to observation, and he loves to sit and watch closely as he envisions his scenes.

Some weird sh1*t with the Odyssey ticket sales

I work at a movie theater, and honestly, I was expecting tons of people, something like the sardines in that SpongeBob episode.

Instead, it's been pretty chill. It's actually kind of empty. Isn't that strange? I keep seeing posts on social media saying the Odyssey has already made like $500 million, but that doesn't match what I'm seeing. Maybe it is in other countries??

Things we've noticed:

• A lot of tickets were bought and are still being bought online, but very few people are actually showing up at the theater, which makes no sense.

• I talked to people from other theater locations, and they're seeing the exact same thing.

I wonder what you all think. There's been a lot of noise about this, especially with what's been going on. Personally, I don't mind because it's been a pretty chill shift with not a lot of work. Spider Man is around the corner, though, and kids and pretty much everyone love Spidey so busy days ahead for us.

https://preview.redd.it/fq8z9kzn1o8h1.png?width=447&format=png&auto=webp&s=72f0931c8f51a5b8f61badbabac0c5a0a395ee2f

Please stop with the James Gunn is a cuck jokes

https://preview.redd.it/w0xv6qfjyu7h1.png?width=333&format=png&auto=webp&s=1448beddc7e04b713465c5929fde8a431ffd6b63

Guys, James Gunn is not a cuck. Yes, he:

  • Wrote the script
  • Picked every scene.
  • Asked for many takes in the romantic scenes
  • Took a lot of photos with his camera to help conceptualise his ideas
  • Picked John Cena and Joel Kinnaman as his very strong, handsome actors and his wife’s love interests
  • Took the creative liberty of making his wife a lead character, even though this was not in the comics
  • Sat in a chair, watched and directed every scene
  • He is also the chair-man for DC
  • A pal of mine who worked on his crew said that James Gunn always pushed for a lot of takes before deciding something was okay.

Also, his wife being with a gym instructor, and the gym instructor grabbing her from behind in a doggy-style pose while flirting with her, is 100% healthy behavior and completely normal.

Guys, all of this is normal and 100% healthy in a relationship. James Gunn sacrificed so much to make Peacemaker, so be thankful for that.

Despite all of that and more, he is not a cuck. He is a professional. It is art.

Chair-man this title did not exists before

So James Gunn is the guy sitting in the chair and watching everything. It’s cool that they chose that title for him. Hamada had a "President" title.

Is it up to Gunn to decide when peacemaker season 3 will happen? Or we may never see peacemaker season 3 at all?
