Pattern is Totally Trendy Totes by Patterns ByAnnie. Since it’s the top, soft and stable, and lining quilted together there is no saggy lining. The pattern is easy to follow. Piecing and quilting took longer than assembly! The blues are assorted fabrics from Alison Glass and the letters are Selvedge Magic letters from Ruby Star Society. I bought the label from Kylie and the machine! My kitties helped every step of the way of course. I can’t wait to gift it!

Making for a colleague who is retiring, I’ve had the pattern picked for a few years. She loves everything I make with Tula Pink fabric so I just rolled with it. Minky Bigfoot makes me laugh. Don’t try it if you’re aiming for perfection, it’s a pain in the ass. But if you just want something hilarious, go for it and embrace the wonk!
