I live in a quintessential "small big town" (Grand Rapids, MI). I wish so bad we could get a Lane 8/TNH show, but I'm not sure we have the right venue for our region. We have a couple 1500 capacity rooms, which feels too small to me. And we have a couple 12K capacity stadium/amphitheater venues, which feel too big. Although I'm just not sure. What's he selling out these days pretty consistently?
I saw this post over in the EF sub and it got me to wondering, has anyone else experienced anything transcendent or even "spiritual" (however you define that) at a Lane 8 set? I'm talking truly unique and extraordinary in your personal history. I've been to 4 sets now and they were each incredible and euphoric in their own ways, but at Electric Forest 2023, something truly strange came over me and just coursed through me for a good 15 minutes. I have no idea what it was, but I've never experienced anything like it before or since. It was something like a certain party favor that starts with the letter M, but much more intense and I was not on that at the time (not that party favors in any way diminish one's accounts in my estimation). Anyway, I'm curious, if anyone is comfortable sharing. See y'all later on down the trails!
Please share... 🙏 That set was so so special for me as I got to share it with my 19yo daughter for her first rave/edm experience. She totally understood the assignment and completely released into the magic. I was being a good TNH fan and not recording, but I so want to relive some moments today. What a night!!
I'm sure there are noise ordinances, wondering if Daniel will still go on from 8-10 or will the whole thing just go later?
