Why I can't stop buying

The biggest problem I have why I can't stop buying is because of the regret that I feel. While yes, I have the same experience as many other people who impulsively buy stuff-- having the regret that comes afterwards, the questions as to what I would even use the thing I bought for, the thoughts of where else that money could have gone to that is more useful than what I spent it for initially-- something else happens to me when I try to stop myself from buying. That is an even heavier feeling of regret, especially when I see that the product I stopped myself from buying is sold out. I keep thinking that I should have just bought it.
