Is there anything I can do to make my hair more flattering??

I feel like no matter what I do to my hair it's insanely unflattering. I received a butchered hair cut a year ago and since then I feel like my hair never looks good. It's always so flat and lifeless. It was also dyed red for two years so my lower length is red with two sessions of adding dark brown on top. The first picture of my hair is slightly curled but the rest are of my hair naturally. I'm not sure if I should cut it or dye it again. I do know I hope to have long pretty hair again but any suggestions would help a lot!
