Owl that may be in distress

Owl that may be in distress

Edit. We think it is a great horned owl. Picture in the comments .

Edit 2. It could be confused due to fireworks or poison. We're supposed to leave it alone and check back tomorrow.

In Amberley, Ohio. We have an owl that might be in distress?

It was on the ground and is being mobbed by smaller birds. It flew a little bit again to the ground. The smaller billiards are still in a tizzy. It flew again and it's probably 7 ft off the ground on someone's lighting. We're not sure if this is a bad sign and if we need help.

We called and left a message with the raptor center. Glen Helen raptor center.

Does anyone know anything useful?
