I don't like how shopping for outdoor gear works right now. So want to build a repository that makes comparison shopping easier.

To start, let's focus on Hardshells.

I don't want to look through Trailspace, Outdoorgearlab and every manufacturer's website to figure out which garments have the right hood shape (for beanies, helmet or going commando), are breathable enough, light enough, have their pockets arranged compatible to a harness (or not), can be packed easily, etc.

So I want to make a website where they are all listed with all their specs. Where you can filter for exactly what you want. See the products, in high quality. And be directed immediately to a place where you can buy them.

Now I am posting this to see if there's even demand for this and for suggestions what features you guys care about!

I think I don't need to ask for critique, but am very open to it!
