I haven't read many books but i did look it up on the lexicarnum because i found the very concept of such a mystery to be fascinating. I see it described as a phenomenon and a star on there.
i want to know if amongst the many books that exist in the BL, anything has been revealed about its true nature. Is it a planet? is it a sun-like star? and if so, how does it move around? does it obey any physical laws or is it the planet version of a psyker?
I'll appreciate any answers or pointers to sources of answers

I ran into this map marker in the Haemonculus' lab but coudn't figure out how to get to it, It seems it's behing a wall with nothing on the other side. I'm wondering if it's legit and i've missed something or this is a misplaced marker?
He says something is afoot on the other side of the Maw. is this Owlcat foreshadowing the events of Dark Heresy?

Wanted to share what exactly I found to be great about changes made to encounters in Dark Heresy compared to Rogue Trader.
In Rogue Trader, more often than not, combat felt like the filler in between story moments. I liked how in Dark Heresy combat feels like its own event and a part of the story.
Every encounter is memorable and demands something specific from you by way of a unique mechanic. I also appreciate that we have the freedom to ignore said mechanic and still get an alternative outcome that progresses the story. Such freedom is always nice IMO.
Then there's the music. The change in combat music depending on what's happening is such a nice touch and adds to the overall experience.
Props to Owlcat for taking the risk to create something unique here with the encounter design. They struck gold.
I recognize that higher difficulties can feel impossible to play and some archetypes perform better than others. However, I believe with a few tweaks, all that will be sorted. The main system itself is great.
I hope that unfair difficulty is unforgiving when they implement it though. If minmaxing is the only way to beat unfair, then they would've succeeded.

Considering we meet >!Aspyce in the Calixis Sector!< at the same time Incendia is in the Koronus Expanse, is it possible the reason Incendia was let out of cryo is because her predecessor was unable to return to the expanse due to the maw and thus assumed dead?
