Ok so I made this post because I lowkey haven’t tell anyone about this and I want to know if anyone has had a similar experience.
Ok so around 2024 I started playing brawl stars because my older cousins used to play it and showed me the animations, after playing for a bit I checked the characters and then saw Janet for the first time, I lowkey don’t remember how I felt back then but something in me changed because I literally fell in love with her at a point where I was obsessed w her (not saying is bad to like a character i just think about how I suddenly liked her so much). Around like 5 days Liking her I started to save all of the art she had and in two days of saving her images I had like 56 of them (fun fact: I didn’t know what Pinterest was so I went on TikTok and searched Janet icons, then took a screenshot and cut the image). In school I told my boy best friend about brawl stars and he told me he also played it so I got really excited, he started to play it in 2023 so i knew he knew Janet , one day to another the only thing I talked about was Janet and things related to her. Then I told my girl best friend about Janet and brawl stars and how amazing it was. In the friend group only my two best friends know how much I liked Janet and what made me feel good was that they didn’t act like it was weird or creepy, then my girl best friend told me how when she slept she saw Janet in her dreams and told her about me and I got really excited because now Janet knew how much I liked her (this was after summer break but I first told them about janet in June). My girl best friend made drawings of me as a brawl stars character and janet and I remember that once I got into a fight w another girl in school my boy best friend made a comic of like him, janet, Melanie Martinez and me being friends (I liked her music back then) . Off school, I blocked everyone who liked janet or made a bad comment about her and I felt insanely jealous when someone had her and all of her skins. That was during June-September around the end of September my boy best friend told me I was weird (not only because of janet but because of other things) in November I went to another state for something legal and didnt talk to my friends. In December I moved to USA (I’m Mexican) and I cut contact with all of my friends, I still liked janet but not as strong as before. Last year during summer I quitted brawl stars since playing it alone wasn’t fun anymore. This year in January I got some of my friends to start playing brawl stars but I ended my friendship with them.
Now I’m probably moving back to Mexico again and want to reconnect with my old friends, even though I don’t like janet that much anymore, she holds a really special place in my heart because of how much she meant to me during those years were I was discovering myself and sometimes, I still play brawl stars and buy her exclusive skins.
