Rhos on sea, parking ticket.

Went to Rhos on sea over the weekend and thought it would be a lovely place to stay over, we drove to the far end away from all the orange no overnight stay signs and out of the way of homes, ( just a grass Bank on one side and the sea on the other) woke up to a lovely ticket on the windscreen, issued at 6am.

Its a shame that they feel the need to restrict overnight stays there, a small charge and a set, arrive and depart time would be good for everyone I think.

Anyway £35 for that view wasn't to bad, I might come back, cheaper than a hotel room 😊

50A dc to dc solar question.

I'm currently running 2 x 175w panels in parallel into the 50A dc to dc and I'm looking into adding more solar.

The question is, if the solar input is off I can get the full 50A from the alternator so would I be right to assume that if there's no supply from the alternator ( engine off) that I can have enough solar panels to produce 50A ( 2 more 175w panels)?

Dc to dc unexpected violet light.

Has anyone experienced their blue battery type light turning violet, not red but violet.

Everything seems to be working at the moment but I'm a bit worried about the light changing on its own?

I have 2 x 175w panels connected, and a direct feed from the starter battery.

If your browsing this subreddit because your thinking about building /buying a van, DO IT.

I was regularly browsing the Internet and watching the YouTube videos of people building vans and getting out there and enjoying them so I took the plunge and bought a van, spent 2 years building in my spare time ( still unfinished) but now it's got everything I need to get out and enjoy it.

I didn't realise how much I would love it, even the wife, who I thought would be a hard sell, loves it. We would spend hundreds on accommodation to get away and have some nice views but now it's the cost of fuel ( which we would have spent to use the car anyway)

We find it hard to stay home at the weekends now, I've attached a couple of pics from this weekend.

GO FOR IT.
