There are basically no rules or anything for the SSWs in my district. I have a lot of freedom in my role. How often do you see kids for therapy sessions? And about how long do the sessions last?

I’m still somewhat new to doing therapy with high schoolers. I have this one student I see who may be on the Autism spectrum (undiagnosed). She is extremely clingy. She had gotten a bit less clingy, but it’s kicked back up again. She wants to come into my office at least once a week, but she doesn’t have much to talk about. She’s a sweet girl, but I’m really struggling with her clingy nature. It really feels like she wants to get out of class, but I do think there is some attachment issues going on related to her mom. I’m curious to know how others would handle this.
