Boss backed into me with car

Just looking for advice and not sure how to proceed here. Was recently put on a PIP at work out of nowhere, so was the other person in my role at our office. It was due to failing reaching some impossible revenue/scheduling goals despite us clearly explaining why it was impossible to achieve. On Friday, my boss backed into me with their vehicle as I was walking in the parking lot. They rolled down their window, said "Oh my god im sorry, are you okay?" And I walked away quickly due to being in shock and frustrated. They backed into my knees and midsection. My leg and knee are sore now, and after the incident I received a text from my boss stating they never heard or felt anything, and were unaware I said I was hit. A coworker says they may have even smelled alcohol on my boss just prior to the incident. I am making a report, and fear retribution for reporting the incident, although at this time I have not included the bit about smelling like alcohol. HR is going to be pulling video from the parking lot from that time. Should I expect to be let go after filing this report? If so, would it qualify as retribution? Should I allow my work to send me to a doctor to be evaluated for my knee and leg, or work directly with my own representation?
