Quick question about Lif (Spoilers for the new chapter)
Lif's original goal was to bring the kingdom of Ask back from the dead thanks to a deal with Hel. Each life taken was a life given back. We also saw that Hel had necromantic powers in book 3 by bringing Lif's and Thrasir's corpses back as souless husk, although we also see both of them "alive" and psycologically ok during the Paralog where they swear vengeance against the gods, but I don't know how much weight those two being alive is due to Hel's power, or just plot convinience.
>!I point that because now that Lif has stolen Hel's power, He could theoritically accomplish his and Thrasir's dream without having to kill Alfonse, while bringing his Sharena, Thrasir and Kiran back to life. We also know that those brought back can be sentient, like Gustav.!<
