am i crazy
24f want to go wwoofing in europe ive seen a lot of horror stories but im gonna stick to reputable women/family farms, not go if i so much as dont like the look in their eye, and i dont really feel any guilt leaving things early if it feels unsafe or exploitative. My plan is make sure ive enough saved up for a flight home and to drag my ass to the airport on short notice, fam/friends not in a position to bail me out.
ive always really wanted to go travelling but thought there was no way i could and always really wanted to live off the land, ditto, so hearing about this was like christmas lol (though more i read more it definitely seems like a mixed bag)
half of me is like wtf am i thinking other half is like life has been weirder and its not like i cant come home plus can get a feel maybe staying in the country first couple of gos
p.s. longshot but anyone know of any 🍃 farms edit: should have mentioned my plan is basically have £1000 aside and stick to places i can cheaply fly home, would that be enough of an emergency fund? i plan to try it for a couple of weeks then keep going if its for me, take some goods to makers markets in my free time and only keep travelling as long as the emergency pot stays above that mark
