After 11 Years, He Earned It 🥹
My in-laws were fuming, but everyone’s happy now 🥰
Thank you, Alfie, for 11 amazing years. For your Bark Mitzvah, you’re getting the matching harness 😂

Sandro was 1 when Alfie joined our family (Sandro is on the right side in most of the photos).
For 10 beautiful years they shared sofas, walks, routines, adventures, and the quiet comfort only cavaliers understand.
Sandro taught Alfie everything - and Alfie gave Sandro a brother.
Now Sandro is gone, but after welcoming Hertzel recently, I keep thinking how lucky we were to witness such a deep bond for almost a decade. ❤️
No dogs were harmed in the logging operation 🙂
After losing our older boy’s half-brother a while ago, having two Cavaliers together again feels incredibly special.
Watching Alfie slowly come back to sharing space, toys, walks - and now apparently wood collections - with little Hertzel has brought so much joy back into our home ❤️
Alfie chose a normal stick. Hertzel chose the forest.
Alfie (11) is our wise, calm king - zero drama, all dignity.
Hertzel (3 months) is pure chaos in a tiny, fluffy body. Leaves? Delicious. Sticks? Gourmet. The leash? His greatest enemy.
Current status:
Alfie: politely tolerating the small tornado
Hertzel: absolutely obsessed with his new big brother
Not quite best friends yet… but we’re working on it 😄
