Could anyone share their experience taking this route with the 1h10m layover? What was it like deboarding, additional security, getting to the next gate, etc.

Traveling with older age parents so a tad concerned about the shorter connection time

My other option is a layover of 5hr 45m, which is a safer bet but longer alternative
