EveryTurn Trainee CBT Role

Hey all, I'm really hoping someone can give me some advice about interviewing with EveryTurn for an upcoming trainee CBT role. I have tried other platforms, but haven't had many responses! I'd like to know the general theme of questions asked, as my two interviews before this have been different, as well as any experiences people have had! Thank you in advance ❤️

Support with Trainee CBT Job Application

Hi all,

I'm currently a mental health nurse within a specialist community mental health team. I'm supervised by a CBT therapist, and have been wanting to get onto the Trainee CBT route for some time now. I'm feeling quite disheartened as I've had rejections and not making it to the interview stage. I know these positions are competitive. I have gone through the job and person specification to make sure I meet all the criteria.

Does anyone have any advice for applying for these roles to make you stand out? For example, personal experience, specific examples, do you add a paragraph about why you suit their values etc for each Trust?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated 🤞🙌

Burnout

Hi all,

Interested to hear your experiences in burnout. I work in a specialist community mental health team. Our caseload is meant to be around 14-18, however now we have around the 30-35 mark each. We had three staff members leave at the start of the year, and only advertising for roles now. We've spoken to Freedom to Speak Up Guardian, but again nothing has changed.

I'm quite a high performer, good with organisation and paperwork (high functioning anxiety) but recently my nervous system collapsed into me crying everyday at work/in between appointments. I'm now going back onto antidepressants because of the overwhelm, dread and anxiety. This is the first time in my life I've had to be signed off sick, and it feels horrible.

I'm really feeling quite hopeless. I only see things getting worse rather than better. I want to look into other roles, but there isn't much out there that is close by.
