How competitive is the iRTP/iMQRES scholarship for Macquarie PhD applicant?
Hi can I have your opinion on this?
I have a research master degree from the Netherlands (Vrije Universiteit Amsteram). My GPA and thesis grade is a bit so-so (not exceptional, but not bad either, a little above average). However, I have five publication as first author. Four are published in Q1 journal (one of them is single author), and one is published in Q2 journal. All of those papers are published in the journal with impact factor larger than 2. The reason why I am able to do this is because academics in my home country (not the Netherlands) typically recruited from Master graduate, allowing me to have an opportunities to do an independent research after receiving master degree. I have secured supervisory team, my project is super align with them, and I have secured an offer from Macquarie (because initially I plan to use them to apply for other scholarship but unsuccessful, therefore I am planning to apply for scholarship only for this iRTP/iMQRES).
Do you think this profile is strong enough?
