I have somewhat accidentally built up some amount of stale bread and before throwing it out I realized there are probably many uses people used to have for this. :)

When I was younger, I'd make bread pudding but I am now the only one at home who likes bread pudding. Looking for anything else as an idea to use up about half a loaf of bread.

ETA: Wow this post blew up. I'm glad I posted - and I hope this helps others with any stale bread they may have. There's more here than my mere half a loaf can make. Thank you everyone!

With the re-release of the Taco Bell classic, I realized I've not only never had them from Taco Bell but I've also not seen a recipe posted here for them. When I was growing up, my family would make them fairly regularly. I imagine I could revere engineer something, but I figured I'd ask if someone had a recipe?
