On 4/25 I went down to my local gun shop and traded my cheap Turkish shotgun for a camo 590. When I initially bought the turk gun the background check cleared within 1.5 weeks. For context I’m currently 20. I’ve been checking in every week regarding the status of my background check, still processing. Is this abnormal? I have a clean criminal record, never even been pulled over. I know they enacted laws making it harder for 18-20 YO’s to get guns, but this seems excessive.
