HERE ARE SOME FUNNY MUN HOOKS FOR YALL
I've thought of some pretty creative hooks for mun that i thought were also very funny :p.
(also i saw a lot of good ones in the other posts that i won't include here)
(look at imaginary watch) Time is passing delegates, but unfortunately, resolutions arent.
delegates--(stand up, pretending to take notes on your desk, then abruptly stop), i was going to take notes, but there's nothing worth writing down yet!
delegates, do you guys hear that?(cup ear as if listening), thats right. nothing! and thats how much was said in this delegates speech.
Delegates, is this water bottle half empty, or half full?(hold up partially full water bottle)(drink some till its nearly empty), well now its empty! But it doesn't matter either way though, it still has more substance than this delegates resolution.
(nodding head slowly then stop). wait delegates, i think i actually understand the argument... i just don't see it realistically happening.
Delegates, in my hand I have this delegate's resolution.(pretend to read an empty paper, then hold it up). I mean it speaks for itself... literally. because nothing is written on it.
Theres red tea, green tea(act like you're bouta say sm cliche hook), and theres the tea that makes this delegate think his resolution would actually work.
Delegates, how can someone say so much, yet speak so little!
(mime putting on glasses, and squinting very hard, trying to look at a delegate's placard)Delegates... I think i need a stronger prescription. Because no matter how hard I look at this resolution, I just dont see it working.
Delegates--(reach into your pocket, acting surprised as if you just got a notification. bonus if you can actually get an alarm or smt to ring when you stand up) it appears i just got a notification from [committee name/important organization]. They wanted me to let this delegate know that (air quotes) "[something vague the delegate said]" isn't exactly a legal framework.
Delegates that speech was truly breathtaking! Not because it was good, but because it took a minute of oxygen that this committee desperately needed for an actual solution!
Use these with caution as they are very undiplomatic and could get you a lot of enemies
