Minimum device use to make progress
Hi all,
I'm just getting back into restoring after a long break, but so far I've been on and off for 10 years or more with not much progress (still sitting at CI 2-3).
## For folks who use devices exclusively, I want to know the following:
- What is the minimum total hours per day of wearing your device that you've achieved results with?
- What's the minimum number of days per week (on average) that you've been able to wear a device and still make progress?
- If you've taken extended breaks from restoring, what's the shortest restoring period (between breaks) that's given you permanent gains? Weeks? Months?
I use the CAR-1, but I'd be keen to hear from restorers who use any device.
I want to figure out a minimum schedule to target and ensure at least slow progress, while managing any practical issues, injuries, etc.
For example, if I can figure out that wearing a device for at least **4 hours** per day, **6** days per week, over a period of at least **2 months**, will get me some permanent results, that sounds like a good goal to set that would help me actually make some more progress.
My last break was forced by getting heaps of skin irritation and tears, among other factors, so I'm gonna dial down the amount of inflation as well to try and reduce injuries. I must have been overdoing it quite a lot last time.
I appreciate any help in finding a routine that can be sustainable for me, (or even just encouragement if you wanna drop some in the comments).
