I made this but im a lil worried about the charm coming off also how to properly close(tie) it off near the clasp area

Ok I wanna make a bracelet and necklace pair with this as the centerpiece. I'm new to making jewelry (not selling or anything just had a coworker give me a handmade bracelet n thought this is pretty n I wanna try) and I came across this (pictured above) and I was thinking either a 3 strand chocker with white and black alternate pearls (with a 2 strand bracelet) or a 4-6 strand necklace that has diffent levels but will still hit lowest ast the bust area with each one going up by an inch (with a 3 stand bracelet to match) but the only material I've used so fare for bracelets (haven't done a necklace yet but have a few ideas) is the stretch cords but I don't think I'd like that as something for these ideas. I'm thinking metal or something or even some kind of thin chain type to go through for more structure.

Well I'd like some help with how to find beginner videos or tutorials on something like that
