OT and Crisis

I’m just wondering out of interest if anyone knows any OT’s working in the Crisis team? Whether this be older adults, working age or children? I know some working in a more general role (crisis practitioner that can be a RMN,RLDN, OT or Social worker) but I haven’t seen any that are specifically OT. If so, what’s it like! This is purely out of my interest in different OT roles.

Kate Butch

Just watched Kate Butch’s live show and it was sooooo good! I’m not sure if anyone else has seen it but i thought it was fantastic.

Cabaret and Kate’s humour fit together perfectly. She made the audience part of the show and I would recommend it to everyone!

Hi first time poster and new to the group so apologies if anything has been posted before. I’m currently studying OT under a a degree apprenticeship. I have a great educator who loves having a student and is really making my experience positive.

Can I ask why so many other people apparently don’t like having students? Or aren’t very forthcoming to help? I’ve heard a lot of horror stories from qualified OT staff and seen certain staff behave negatively toward students.
