UK student making rent
Advice really needed. I’m a Second year uni student in the UK. Throughout this year i’ve been working in a pub alongside my degree to earn enough for my rent. Admittedly, My parents sometimes help me out but they’re not longer able to do this. Because of the fact it’s summer and all the students are going home, my pub is significantly cutting my hours which means I can’t make my rent anymore. No one I live with is in a similar financial position.
I’m not really sure what to do. I’m selling my favourite clothes on vinted. I’ve been doing those surveys which are incredibly time consuming and have made me £7 at most. I’ve looked through reddit trying to see what men are willing to pay for but i’ve never done that and think i’d need some guidance. I’ve been applying for second jobs for the last month and still haven’t got one. I’m just so lost I don’t even have ideas on what to do anymore.
I really just need advice. I can not be the only one in this position. I really don’t think i’m being lazy. I’m still working at my job. Now my course is over for this academic year I have time on my hands. I have the time to work more shifts I just can’t get any. What shall i do. I really can’t afford to be scammed.
