Looking for moderators
r/dumbservices is currently looking for moderators.
This subreddit is still brand new, but I want to build a moderation team early so the community can grow properly instead of turning into complete chaos later.
The main goal of moderation here is simple:
keep the subreddit funny, creative, and dumb without allowing scams, illegal activity, spam, or harmful behavior to take over.
You do NOT need previous moderation experience to apply. What matters more is:
being active
understanding the vibe of the subreddit
having common sense
being able to tell the difference between harmless absurdity and actual bad behavior
Things moderators may help with:
removing scams/spam
enforcing subreddit rules
helping organize the community
handling reports
helping shape the direction of the subreddit as it grows
Since the subreddit is new, this is also a chance to help define the culture of the community early on.
