Okay what’s the deal? I can start any Rallycross race no problem, but 90% of the time I start a career rally race there’s a bug that’s preventing me from starting. Can’t rev, switch gears etc.
Any fixes for this? I’m on XSS with a regular controller.
I don’t have the means or time to start my own server. But just wanted to throw the idea out there.
I think what popped this idea in my head was the introduction of playable FIA as a freedom fighter type faction.
Setting would be from the original Red Dawn (1984) movie. Factions could be Soviet / NATO and the “Wolverines”. Obviously set on the edge of the Rocky Mountains, that would offer diverse mountainous terrain, open fields and forests. Most of the weapons and vehicles are already vanilla. So mods would mostly be for cosmetics. Soviets (or Cubans) would have to run supplies, capture small town fobs. Wolverines would be less armed but rely on ambushing, and stealing gear + weapons to disrupt supply chains and assist NATO. Only thing is there would need to be both a NATO and Wolverine faction player cap to give the sense that the Soviets have control of most of the map.
I feel like other game mode details still need panning out. But I would love to see something similar to this.
