What's the best reddit alternative for weird stuff?

I'm into fringe topics like NDEs, conspiracy, numerology, DMT, aliens, etc etc. Is there a good website for that kinda stuff?

This post had zero upvotes

I've been going on different subs, sorting by controversial, trying to find the stuff that's being silenced. Allegedly, keeping posts at zero upvotes is one way this platform is controlled.

Anyway, this post I'm sharing is the only one that kinda indicated foul play. Lots of comments but supposedly zero upvotes. I'd expect something like 3-5 for that sort of post. Any idea why? Or maybe I'm reading too much into this one.

Interestingly this sub was the only one I had trouble sorting by controversial in. That by itself was an oddity.

"Only take what resonates"

I keep seeing this, and the first few times I thought it was a really lovely sentiment. But the more I think about it, I wonder if it doesn't create an echo chamber? Does anyone have insight into how this might be true, but also how to avoid being closed off to "reality"?

Here are the problems

Just spitballing here... my problems with conspiracy related research.

I'm going to start with source problems

  1. Plenty of people with insider information who are afraid to share or uninterested in sharing. You could also lump people in here who aren't aware enough of what's going on, what they are partaking in. "The ignorant insider".

  2. There are people who are sharing, but they are afraid of disclosing their identity, so we have to use our discretion. Trust them or not. This works if you have some internal intuition, but it's also not guaranteed.

  3. Loads of people from inside the belly of the beast who were mentally messed with. These folks might have DID, lost memories, schizophrenia or schizo like thought patterns, they might not be well educated so they don't express themselves coherently. This group makes me especially sad because they have a plethora of pain and knowledge, but it's the fault of the trauma and environment that we can't get more information from them. Usually at no fault of their own.

  4. People who used to be "the bad guys" but had a change of heart. Maybe guilt or they are dying so they are rethinking their life choices. These exposes can often be really rich with information. But again it's usually not really backed by hard evidence.

  5. There's the woo-woo stuff like astral projections, channeling, remote viewing, which is all very hard for the average person to accept as evidence. It's also not 100% accurate even from legit sources. Even good channelers will say that the message might not come through perfectly.

  6. Now we're in the unfortunate section of intentional disinformation. Soooo much disinformation, informational overwhelm, leaving out the important stuff. Notice how the Epstein files heavily focus on sexual exploitation and not the occult / sacrificial stuff that some people have managed to tease out.

Now let me attack reader problems

  1. Upsidedown issues. Let's say you've been a fan of a particular musical artist for most of your life, you absolutely love them, follow all of their work, have the utmost respect for them. If anything is revealed that puts this person in a bad light it turns your world upsidedown. So it's almost impossible for most people to touch these issues. Same for politicians, global organizations. There's so much people worship and idolize. This creates a major blockage. Most people don't want to deal with ontological shock.

  2. Laziness. Most of us have spent too much time on social media and can only read or watch a short thing without getting mentally tired. This means that the long ass CIA documents, books, boring unpopular podcasts don't get many eyes on them. The mental laziness is a problem too. You can only extract so much wisdom from a source if you aren't willing to think deeply or critically about it.

  3. Who to trust? This is my big issue lately. With so many bot / disinfo accounts, it becomes very difficult to use Reddit how we used to be able to. Back in the day you could see how many upvotes and downvotes a post had. This was fantastic for conspiracy stuff because seeing 100 upvotes 100 downvotes meant that was something worth looking at. Nowadays you can't tell, so lots lots LOTS of good content is sitting at 0 or 1 upvote. It's kinda tragic honestly. If you are still only reading the top comments and posts you are missing out on all the content that is being artificially downvoted.

Alright, that's mostly it. Sorry this wasn't a more organized post. I think that after months of research and frustration (with Reddit especially) I just needed to vent. Thx for reading.

God exists because circles exist

I had a weird dream. I suppose it needs some context. Also I'll try to keep it concise.

I'm a bit of a spiritualist to say the least. I started reading the "Conversations with God" books years ago, and since then have been cultivating a relationship with God and with my spiritual side.

I'm also into things like "sacred geometry" and numerology. I dunno. I've also had an affinity for "magical math" ever since I was a kid. Memorizing pi that sort of thing.

Well I've been going through a sort of existential crisis lately. I read a lot of creepy things after the _____ files came out. Unfortunate side effect is that my faith in my benevolent God has wavered.

Well, a few days ago, kinda under my breath, I say "can you just prove to me that you're real and that you're benevolent??"

That night while I was dreaming I had the strangest dream...

God was drawing a circle in front of me over and over again. He kept drawing a circle that didn't close though.

The circle kinda looked like this "Zen enso circle of enlightenment"

After drawing that version several times he started to draw regular closed circles. He said, "this is how you know I exist. Because circles exist."

That's it. That's the dream. It was just weird how much certainty I felt in that moment? You know the feeling a person gets when they are high, like they just solved a huge secret and it makes lots of sense in that moment. That's basically how I felt during my dream. I felt, "aha! Of course! How didn't I realize it before? *Of course* God exists because a perfect circle exists. Only in a world that circles don't close could we be without God."

So bizarre! Anyway just wanted to share because it was kinda unique. And I'm hoping someone has a pinch of insight into this. Like why??? Lol
