I’m planning a long liquid light show (several hours) in a club during a DJ set and I’m looking for tips from people with experience

Setup & Flow:

• How do you keep visuals interesting over a long period without them feeling repetitive?
• Do you work in structured “phases” that follow the DJ set, or more improvised?

Materials & Technique:

• Which liquids/color combinations work best over long durations (without getting muddy)?
• Any tips to keep colors vibrant and prevent them from turning brown?

Handling in a Club:

• How do you deal with heat, lighting, and limited space?
• Any tricks for quickly switching between different looks?

Other:

• Common mistakes to avoid?
• Things you only learned after doing multiple shows?
