Kouri RIchins - DNA Evidence?
I’ll preface by saying I watched quite a bit of the trial but it’s possible I missed chunks here and there. I found the dealer connection to not be a smoking gun and not super clear that Kouri actually got fentanyl. Or did I miss something? Totally possible!
Also the state didn’t have dna or test results from (say) the cup Eric drank from or any evidence that the drugs in his system matched whatever it was Kouri bought.
Was there really no evidence of Eric buying drugs? Nothing in his phone even suggesting it? I thought the defense would show anything at all if they had it. Isn’t that her only real defense…that Eric accidentally overdosed by his own doing?
I respect the jury’s verdict and she is very likely 100% guilty of murder. Just wish there was more there.
