Securing inflator/air2 on Hydros Pro
As a relatively novice diver (~200 dives), I’m not comfortable making up my own solutions for hose and gear control.
The inflator/corrugated hose on my hydro pro w/air2 hangs too long for my taste while diving. I know other people use octopus bungees or just bungee cord to secure hoses…but since this is my spare second stage, I’m afraid to do this without input.
All my buddies use other BCDs or BPWs so they won’t say “this is fine”.
Some googling comes up with the suggestion to get a dive shop to reduce the length of my corrugated hose but when I called mine, they said they’ve never done that. They said a loose bungee or octo strap would be fine. But I want to be doubly sure.
Anyone with this bcd have suggestions on how to safely secure the air2 and its hose?
