Hey y’all! Someone posted about looking for lap swimming accountability buddies and it really made me think about wanting to find fat & queer community on campus that might be interested in a weekly or bi-weekly meetup to swim, or even just to hangout! I’m 33 and started at SFSU last year, and haven’t had a lot of luck making friends or finding community on campus. In this age of GLP-1’s and the rise of fascism (and body fascism), it feels important to find more likeminded fat community. If that’s you, let me know!

My financial aid package this year is quite substantially different than my package last year. My income did go up slightly but not by a ton. However, last year I qualified for the middle class scholarship but I don’t see that in my aid package this year, despite meeting the criteria to qualify. All I have been offered is loans and that seems like it shouldn’t be the case. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Hey y’all. I’ve been in Viibryd for about two months now. I started at 20mg and titrated up to 40mg about 1-2 weeks later. No matter what I do or how much I eat when taking the medication, I’m hit with the worst nausea typically 4 hours after taking it. It doesn’t last long and I never throw up, but it is about 30 minutes of mouth sweats and feeling terrible. This medication has saved my life and I don’t want to stop taking it, but the nausea is also quite awful. Does anyone have suggestions? What worked for you?
