How Gödel Should Have Proved Incompleteness

Theorem: You can’t prove all theorems.

Proof:

Refuse to provide the proof. Since all other mathematicians are incapable of even attempting to prove this, as it would shatter their delusion of Hilbert’s program, my refusal to prove this statement means that not all theorems are provable.

QED.

"Why Prove Something When You Can Just Define It Instead?"

A few of you pointed out than in the previous iteration of this meme, my definitions for the trigonometric functions only worked for a real input. Here's the fixed version of that, and I've chosen a better format this time.

*To clarify, this meme is not attacking mathematical rigor, but the notion that the complex analytic definitions should be used while ignoring the relationship that naturally arises (and leads to that result). In other words, we should acknowledge the motivation behind our definitions.
