Can we please get a Wegmans?

I recently moved to Cleveland from a state that has multiple Wegmans, and I honestly didn’t realize how spoiled I was until I started grocery shopping here.

I was shocked by both the prices and, at times, the quality here. This weekend I was back near a Wegmans and did my grocery shopping there. I bought what would normally cost me around $125 to $150 here, and spent under $75.

Am I knocking Heinen’s, Giant Eagle, Meijer, and Whole Foods? Yeah, a little. Because quality and affordability matter. I don’t think we should have to choose between the two.

Cleveland has such an incredible food scene. People here genuinely appreciate good food, so it feels like the perfect city for a Wegmans.

Am I the only one who thinks Wegmans would absolutely thrive here?

Edit: If you think there’s a better grocery store in Cleveland that offers high quality ingredients, a huge selection, and reasonable prices, I’m genuinely all ears. I’d love to check it out.
