I’m looking for work wheatpasting. I live in Los Angeles and have been reaching out to companies in the area, but haven’t received any responses back. I’m looking for the best quality/cost friendly lettering quills for a beginner. I currently have a set of Mack & Meyer mop brushes, but want to start practicing with other styles of brushes. If you have recommendations on other brushes as well, I’m all ears. Any help would be appreciated.
Is there anybody that has any leads on where I can find a neon apprenticeship in Los Angeles? I’m too broke to take an 8 week $1600 class at Mona and think that 8 week courses lead more to a hobby rather than a career. I have been looking at sign shops for years now and have not found anyone interested in training. I would assume more people would be looking to train people since it’s a dying art. If you have any leads and live in or near Los Angeles, please DM me. I am willing to drive to the SFV and Orange County for this.
