Non scale positive side effects?
Has anyone else had non scale positive side effects? I read that GLP1s can help with addictions like alcohol. Didn’t realize it would cut my spending habit too.
I am 5’9” SW 190lbs, CW 167lbs, GW 140lbs ish
I’ve been on the wegovy pill for 3.5 months. I did 1.5mg, 4mg, 4mg, and halfway through the 9mg. I’m down 23lbs, yay.
I was heehawing around about the cost at first, but a HUGE non scale positive side effect I’ve had is that I no longer go shopping for fun. Clothing / accessory / makeup shopping has completely lost its luster for me.
I’m fine financially so I never really thought of it as an issue. But now that I stopped, OMG! It more than pays for the wegovy.
I still buy stuff, I needed smaller shorts and got some. But the browsing, adding to cart, trying on, deal hunting in person, etc etc just doesn’t hit the way it used to. Seems like a lot of work now LOL. I just don’t have interest in it.
I order a lot less when I get out to eat, too. I’m doing that less these days as well.
