ISO REHS Positions Hiring! (Nation Wide)

ISO REHS Positions Hiring! (Nation Wide)

Hello! This may be a long shot, but I figured it was worth a post.

I’m an entry level Environmental Health graduate looking for rural county health department opportunities anywhere in the U.S. Food/lodging, well/septic, or both. I’m hoping to find a county under 80,000 residents with scenic surroundings, outdoor recreation culture, and relatively mild winters (<12 inches of snowfall).

If your health department (or a neighboring county) is hiring Environmental Health Specialists, please feel free to comment! Rural communities are harder to research and I’m hoping to find a hidden gem where I can build a long-term career.

Thank you!

1st REHS interview!! Advice?

Recent Environmental Health graduate. I have an interview on Wednesday. Rural county in Colorado. Population of 24,000. Generalist work. I got my degree out of state.

Could anyone tell me some questions to expect during the interview? Or what characteristics are most important for an entry-level applicant?

Thank y'all in advance!
