hiiii loves!! i emerged from the cave! i might go back inside lmao I'm okay though, just learning how to manage my energy. i really wanted to start posting for this series called ✨ spells without fire ✨ which will probably be extended for a few months because the ideas keep coming. the only issue is my limited battery but we'll work through it 😌✋🏻

for the first spell in the series, i wanted to share this idea of a spell in a spray, that i love to adapt for any intention i have. i love these because they end up weaving magic in the every day life, and them being so versatile helps a lot with learning how to fine tune and tweak your ingredients. 

this time, I'm doing this spray specifically for supporting health and joy since we're going towards the colder months here, and winter in the far south gets heavy! i personally love the winter but some in my family don't do well with cold weather, so i made this to help lift the spirits a bit.

BUT spells in a spray can be done literally for anything you want. i have one for protection and uncrossing, and i spray it around my house when i feel that the energy is becoming a bit funky. one lovely client suggested glamour spells without candles, and i think that sprays can be so beneficial for this, especially when we start to feel down about ourselves and when we need the energy to shift asap. for this post, i will be focusing more on road opener energy, prompted by u/northnodewellness ✨

let's lay the foundations for a road opener and then we can tweak and tailor things to match our intentions:

what do i personally try to incorporate in a road opener?

i believe road openers have a few layers that guarantee success, but remember this is my opinion and the conclusion i came to. each practitioner finds what works for them. this is my current understanding of road opening energy:

🌸 we are talking about an energetic shift that cleanses your current path, opening up and clearing all the gunk to let the new opportunities coming in. so, a cleansing layer

🌸 we also want to support this new cleared path  with good energy so that we start off already winning. so, an abundance/blessing layer depending on what are you want the spell to target - if it's love, money, job opportunities, career success, healing, new creative ideas and projects, good luck in studies, or just general blessings. 

🌸 and we also want to be constantly attracting good stuff that we may not have to put too much effort in. an attraction layer made with the intention of just attracting good things.

🌸 lastly, a protection layer that ensures that only the best things come to us and that we don't burnout once we start accepting and working towards those opportunities we're bringing in.

so basically, if we put it in terms of affirmations, something like this would be the signals you're sending to the cosmos:

✨ my paths are cleared from any negativity and blockages that may hinder me from receiving all the blessings i deserve - the cleansing layer

✨ my paths are filled with pure love and abundance in all forms, allowing me to fulfill my desires and goals - the abundance/blessings layer

✨ my path is now a magnet for the best opportunities ever, the best outcomes and success just comes my way without me even trying hard - the attraction layer

✨ my path is divinely protected and guided, and i go at my own pace while fulfilling my dreams - the protection layer

🔮 for the spell 🔮

🌿 you'll need your alcohol of choice, I'm just using regular alcohol from the store idk what it's called lmao

🌿 a glass jar or bottle where this spell will be marinating

🌿 a secure place, preferably in the dark and out of reach so that your demon cat can't smash the glass onto the floor

🌿 plants and any other ally you would like to use that correspond with your intentions, in this case I'm using:

- ginger for vitality and joy, also a great road opener - it is an amazing antibiotic, i literally cured a throat infection with this baddie. it clears your roads and adds its fiery nature to support abundance and prosperity. 

- orange peels for joy and support, also a key ingredient in road openers, for success and prosperity 

- green quartz for health - i will be activating these (with a simple prayer) and leave them on top of the jar to amplify the spell

- carnelian for strength and joy, also on top or maybe on the sides i still haven't decided lol

✨ that's all I'm adding to mine, since i want to keep it simple but you can add the following herbs for road opening (choose only one or two per layer to avoid confusion and mental overload) ✨

🩷 for cleansing: 

- mint, great to clear the paths 

- rue if you can tolerate the smell, just a tiny bit of leaves can help in clearing out any stagnant energy and also protect your roads

- eucalyptus, great to open up the pathways. 

- any herb that you associate with the feeling of freshness, the ones that open up the sinuses and support lung health are amazing road openers because they clear all the gunk!

🩷 abundance and blessings:

- orange peels and ginger like i mentioned

- chamomile for good luck

- calendula for success

- rosemary in its solar correspondences for success as well (and a cleansing boost)

- we're thinking solar and jovial correspondences here. bay and basil are amazing too.

🩷 attraction: 

- rose petals to attract the best outcomes

- ginger is also attracting due to its strength  

- you can draw the venus symbol in the jar you're keeping this

- thyme sounds random but it's actually venusian and great for cleansings and sometimes used in love workings (not common tho)

- anything that has a fragrance that lures you in. you could even add a few drops of vanilla extract for attraction here, or a few drops of your favorite perfume. 

🩷 protection:

i love to use rosemary for gentle protection since we don't need to close the roads lol but rue is amazing for combatting the evil eye and since you'll be getting so successful and happy, you might as well throw some rue in there to protect you from envy ✨

🥀 for glamour workings: all plants related to what you're wanting to achieve. not all glamours are for beauty and attraction so pick the herbs and crystals ruled by the energies that best match your intention:

🖤 if it's to appear more knowledgeable - mercurial and jovial. 

🖤 if you want to land the job - solar and venusian. 

🖤 if you want to appear dangerous to preserve your safety - marcial and lunar. 

🖤 if you want to disappear - lunar and  mercurial (for cunning and strategy). 

🖤 if you want to appear more masculine - solar and marcial. 

🖤 if you want to appear more femenine - venusian and lunar. 

🖤 incorporating the rulers of your first house and you venus placements can also be of help. mine are both in cancer (which is ruled by the moon), so lunar energy is very important to me in terms of beauty and confidence. 

🌿 what can you do while you wait for these baddies to do their magic?

✨ you can pray your own affirmations into it

✨ you can visualize or trace your symbols of power or sigils that you like (I'm sharing some of mine just in case you want to use them in the comments - please feel free to use them all you want)

✨ you can chant, look up for pagan prayers online (pinterest is the best for that), pray to your guides or deities if you have them in your practice to bless it

✨ you can pray psalms over it, sounds random but hey if i got religious trama i might as well use the tools that work 😭💀

what i will do:

🌚 I'm gonna pray the homeric hymn to Helios every Sunday to charge it while holding the jar in my hands

🌚 same thing but with my affirmations of choice every day

🌚 i will petition my deities to bless it

🔮 my ceremonial magick side: i might perform the middle pillar ritual and the rose cross to infuse this spray with healing and protective energy. adding this just in case any of you perform these rituals already. just make sure that after doing the middle pillar and directing the energy from Tiphareth thru your hands and to the spell, perform a LBRP and a MP for yourself right after (to avoid being depleted of energy). for the rose cross, you just place the jar or bottle in the center and start drawing all the crosses all around it and above + below like you would with yourself. no need to repeat this one for you if you don't want to. 

🩵 the water part:

we have to dilute this bad bitch with water once the process is done, so you can just use water just like that or do a few things to it like saying a prayer to the water to ask it to bless this spell with the intentions you ask. 

• what I'm gonna do: personally i will be infusing some water in the sunlight, at the hour of the sun (health), on a thursday (ruled by jupiter to bring the blessings and protection that this planet gives). 

• but if you're intending to make this a road opening spray, you could choose a wednesday for mercurial influence, on a jupiter or sun hour (you can search for planetary hours, there are a few pages that adjust to your location and time, it's actually very easy to follow the hours thanks to the internet, we don't have to be doing calculations anymore 🥹😭🙌🏻🙇🏻‍♀️). 

• if you're doing a love road opener, you can do this on a friday (venus day) at the hour of jupiter for expansion and blessings, or the hour of the sun for success and confidence. 

• if this is a glamour working, venus day at venus hour works perfectly.
