Ngl the criticism of the last drawing was justified; it was the first time I tried drawing in such a polished style so I get why he can look somewhat uncanny lol
I'm taking his original Robin look as a starting point and trying to imagine how he would look as an adult, that's why I like the proportions that Fabok used
These are other sketches that I had, so it's interesting to know other people's opinions.
This is probably more of a comic book style tho (+as you can see, the first one is not far from a floating head and the second one is unfinished cuz I’m lazy af asf)

I don't have much to say about the drawing lol (The only thing is, maybe I should have added some expression wrinkles…)

But I'll take this chance to express my opinion: I can't stand the headcanon with green eyes (which are supposedly due to Jason being dunked in a pit?? Although it wasn’t even green and it doesn’t make sense) and scars (any scars, the "J" on his cheek, which is ONLY canon for the Arkhamverse, the autopsy scar, even though no autopsy was performed on him, etc.). The only permanent scar I think he should have is the scar on his neck from the batarang. This is something that happened in canon and should be important imo, although DC unfortunately ignores this accident (soft retconned ig)

I don't want to hurt those who have these headcanons, you can fantasize about whatever you like, it’s okay, it just infuriates me when people claim that this is canon/this should be part of the canon, although it contradicts it.. again, just my opinion

Oh, and I also want to remind you that Jason doesn't need to "stand out," because supposedly the batboys are hard to tell apart. It's okay that they look alike, and Jason should look like Dick, and Tim can very well look like Jason (enough so that the villains could confuse them when Tim was Robin). This isn't bad, and I don't see a problem with it. They don't look like clones tho. AND Jason shouldn't be the size of a damn refrigerator. BUT! I will say that I would really like to see Jason's wavy hair back. Not to make batboys "easier to tell apart," but just because I miss the days when his hair was wavy and he had those two stupid curls :p
