My Church has given the go ahead to update their technical infrastructure. Looking to see if there is enough interest to create a Church Technology based git or discord so we can pool our knowledge
Happy Sunday everyone! My lead pastor and the elders have given the go ahead to start bringing our church into the digital age. At the moment we have a hodgepodge of computers, a sound board, and a few ip cameras.
I'm not sure about every church, but it seems as though every church has an it infrastructure made up of good intentions and Band-Aid solutions. That and huge networking bottlenecks.
My plan is to get a new switch, a storage server, and a docker server to make things run more efficiently.
I'll be building our own knowledge base but if there are other super techs out there who want to help, we can make a central location to help all churches.
