How Do You Stay Consistent?

May sound like a silly question but consistency has always been my biggest hurdle. Trying to make a genuine change in my life and am hoping for some tips on staying consistent. I think I focus too much on the big picture instead of one day at a time. I currently weigh 375 and wondering if I focus on small goals to get to the end result is the proper way. Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks!
