For a story, how could I keep my character out of prison
Hiya everyone, So, one of my characters causes havoc in a government building. She breaks in and causes chaos inside. But there is proof of her doing it and so she's on the run for 1-2 years. Now she comes back and is fighting the law suit. Is there any chance she would not end up in prison? I deliberately left a lot of details out as I don't know if one action of hers could actually get her into prison or keep her out of there. Any chance I could keep her out of there? The storys set in mother England/ Ireland.
