hey yall! hoping to head down to nola after spending some time in TN with friends this winter before it gets too cold to busk new england- but ive also heard busking down there in nola can be pretty tough in the winter? ive only ever played stage/bar gigs in that back of the woods so its definitely unfamiliar territory. any tips tricks or advice would be lovely!

also for safety reasons i should mention i am a solo female traveler most of the time, are there areas to avoid due to that?
